Who is TCDI?
When was TCDI founded?
TCDI was founded in 1988 in Northern Virginia in response to demanding knowledge-management challenges found in government agencies and large corporate legal departments.
When did TCDI open a North Carolina office?
In 1998, TCDI opened a second office in North Carolina to serve the growing demand for on-line knowledge management solutions. Since then, we’ve been a technology partner in some of the largest product liability litigation in U.S. history.
Where is TCDI located?
Our litigation technology division is located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Our federal systems division is located in Reston, Virginia. In early 2007, TCDI will be opening a new office in Aventura, Florida. Although our physical locations are throughout the East Coast, we serve clients nationally and internationally.
How is TCDI different than other litigation support companies?
TCDI focuses on large-scale litigation solutions. Unlike other litigation support companies that specialize in all types of litigation support solutions, TCDI’s web-based tool, ClarVergence, scales extremely well for larger projects but does not scale down for smaller projects like other products on the market.
TCDI also focuses on client service and security, assigning a dedicated project manager to each client as well as dedicated servers for each client’s data. We give clients the piece of mind that their data is protected and their needs are our top priority. [ Top ]

We do not name our clients due to privacy requests. Due to the nature of our business, we rarely give out client names. Although we cannot give specific names of clients, we do discuss our clients' industries, which includes tobacco, food manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, fire arms, and health product manufacturing.
Why does TCDI provide clients with dedicated servers?
Because security is paramount to TCDI and our clients, we have always provided dedicated servers and always will. There is no better way to ensure the utmost security to client data than to dedicate servers. It avoids issues often found with shared servers, such as slow web access and data contamination.
