Leadership Methodology
TCDI utilizes a “flat” operational structure to ensure client requests are addressed quickly and effectively. Requests do not get mired down by policy and management layers – rather, everyone works collaboratively and proactively to meet client needs. In addition, the TCDI staff brings substantial real-world litigation, government and technology experience to their respective positions, helping them understand client needs in a comprehensive and real-time manner. Further, TCDI provides its staff with on-going training and excellent work environments. This management approach has resulted in employee retention rates that one would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else in the industry (employee turnover is well below 3% annually), giving clients the benefit of consistency and longevity.

Bill Johnson, President and Chief Executive OfficerBill's diverse background in programming and technology leadership has given him the insight and knowledge to found and build a unique company providing technology solutions to corporate, legal, and governmental markets. He has over 25 years of experience in knowledge management and advanced search technologies. Bill has been working with BASISPlus for over 20 years, and serves as a database design specialist with explicit knowledge of a number of SQL compliant database systems as well as large text databases. Bill earned a B.A. in Architecture with a concentration in Computer-Aided Design at the University of Maryland. |

Jerry Eatherly, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Federal Systems Division
Jerry, a founding partner, is executive vice president of TCDI®. Jerry is an expert in computer systems architecture, systems programming, applications development, computer operations, and ADP system security. He brings in-depth knowledge and experience in today's on-going and emerging technologies. He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University and has certificates from the National Cryptologic School and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronic Association. Jerry also holds Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). |

Susan Bright, Executive Vice President & Chief Operations OfficerSusan brings a unique combination of technical, consulting, and management skills to her position at TCDI®. She has in-depth knowledge in design and development of databases and technical systems in both the governmental and legal markets. She is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of TCDI’s organizational development, operational policies, objectives, initiatives, and contract administration functions. Susan has a B.A.S. in Computer Science from Campbell University and an M.A. in Educational Media from Appalachian State University. Susan serves on the Boards of the Guilford Technical Community College Foundation and Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test. (www.earlier.org) |

Lisa Cain, CPA & Chief Financial OfficerAs TCDI's CFO, Lisa brings a strong combination of financial, accounting, and computer information experience to the company. With over 20 years of financial experience, she is responsible for directing TCDI's overall financial policies where she oversees all financial functions from accounting to budgets to treasury. Lisa holds a B.S. degree in both Accounting and Computer Information Systems and an MBA degree, all from Pfeiffer University. |

Anthony Klier, Vice President of DevelopmentAnthony is responsible for leading all product development efforts within the Litigation Technology division of TCDI including research and development of new product enhancements and redesigns that align our products with current company strategies and goals. Prior to joining the Litigation Division, Anthony served as Vice President, Government Operations for TCDI's Federal Systems Division where he assisted various TCDI clients by leading their efforts at database and information management systems design, development, and integration. He also led the development of a number of critical applications for the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Department of State, as well as being the driving force behind the creation of secure web-based information management solutions supporting the Treaty Compliance Division in the U.S. Department of Commerce. |

Tom MacKenzie, Vice President of Marketing & Business DevelopmentTom is responsible for the overall planning and direction of the business development and marketing of TCDI products and services. He joined TCDI in 2005 with over 25 years of pharmaceutical sales and marketing management experience where he played a role in creative concept building, planning, and execution of initiatives on a national and global basis. Tom holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado with educational focus in Behavioral Development and Business. |

Don Eckstein, Director of ComplianceDon brings more than 25 years experience in Information Systems and Operations Management to his position as Director of Compliance at TCDI. In this role, Don oversees the development and maintenance of all corporate audit policies and procedures. He manages internal controls and risk assessments as well as those performed by clients and independent auditors for certifications such as SAS 70. Don also oversees TCDI’s advanced training and development program, “TCDI University.” In addition to his work at TCDI, Don is also an active member of the Greensboro community. He volunteers at Greensboro Urban Ministry's Potters House Soup Kitchen and provides consulting services to the local chapter of the National Council for Community and Justice. |

David Byrd, Division DirectorDavid is a Certified Information Security Manager with 35 years of experience with secure information systems and technology. He has a unique combination of technical and analytical skills and experience in all areas of systems security including policy, planning, training, risk management, administration, and hardware and software engineering. He is the Principal Investigator supporting security analysis, assessment, planning, and policy efforts for all Federal Systems Division clients. Along with Jerry Eatherly (Executive Vice President, Federal Systems Division), David is a charter member of the U.S. Department of State’s VC/VO Computer Security Working Group (CSWG), one of first such organizations to be established within the U.S. Arms Control community. David is also the principal author for all Federal Systems Division proposal efforts and has recently authored two winning proposals for major contracts within the U.S. Departments of State and Commerce valued at over $50 million. David has a B.S. in Data Processing Management from Strayer College and holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) |

Tim Farr, IT Operations ManagerTim serves as the IT Operations Manager, supporting TCDI®’s U.S. Department of State Bureau of Verification and Compliance (VC/VO) contract. During his 15 year tour with the U.S. Army, Tim honed his hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnostics skills. Those skills coupled with his Logistics and Personnel Management skills are invaluable in maintaining our excellent record of performance in the IT Operations arena for the State Department. He has also earned praise as an excellent teacher/trainer who is patient and effective when working with a wide range of personalities and operational environments. A valuable member of TCDI’s Federal Systems Division management, Tim has been able to successfully apply these principles throughout his career with TCDI. He holds an array of Certifications including MCSE and MCSA as well as a Computer Information Systems Diploma from Strayer University. |
