TCDI Named to the Inc. 5000

September 01, 2011

Greensboro-based TCDI has been named to the prestigious 2011 Inc. 5000, an annual ranking of the fastest-growing privately held companies in the U.S.

TCDI (Technology Concepts & Design, Inc.) today announced that it has been named to the 2011 Inc. 5000, an annual ranking by Inc. Magazine of what they call "The Engines of the Economy." TCDI came in at No. 4369.

Companies making the list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must be based in the United States, be privately held, for profit and independent. Employment growth is also a factor.

"We’re honored by this recognition," said Bill Johnson, President and CEO of the 23-year-old Greensboro-based litigation software and services provider. "We’re pleased we can make a significant contribution to the eDiscovery and Case Management efforts of our clients, and humbled at our continued success. We’ve worked hard to develop deep and long-lasting client relationships, and we plan to continue building those partnerships for many years to come."

The Inc. list debuted in 1981 and recognized 100 companies. It has grown each year, until reaching 5000 in 2007. Through each evolution, Inc. has sought to recognize and to celebrate the creativity, dedication and hard work that entrepreneurs put into building their companies.

"Now, more than ever," said Inc. magazine Editor Jane Berentson, "we depend on Inc. 500/5000 companies to spur innovation, provide jobs and drive the economy forward. Growth companies, not large companies, are where the action is."
