Performance

From the ground up, we built CV5 on a development platform designed to speed response times and results over the Internet.  Even large search results will return fast and screens will refresh instantly upon your commands.  In document review, when time is money, you won't be waiting on CV5... rather CV5 will be waiting on you.

Automation

Where practical, TCDI believes in using computer technology to automate and manage repetitive human tasks. Computers do repetitive tasks really well, really fast and they don't get tired.

In CV5 we've put automation to work in many administrative areas like review set/document assignment, and the management of documents through custom designed review workflows. Reducing the amount of manual administrative tasks improves process flow, reduces errors and enhances audit accuracy allowing your review administrators to manage more import project priorities.

Advanced Technology

Despite enterprise efforts to reduce data volumes through sophisticated content management and sound retention policies, data volumes are still rising. This has caused a corresponding rise in the cost of human document review to the point where many legal strategy decisions are being made, not on the merits of the case, but rather on the estimated cost of review. Technology led us into this problem so it's only fitting it helps lead us out. 

CV5 leverages several computer assisted review technologies designed to make document review less expensive and more consistent. Concept search technology provides a powerful way to find, understand or organize your data. Email threading ensures a single reviewer sees and can quickly code all of the emails associated with a conversation thread. Near duplicate grouping displays documents with sometimes small but important differences in a way that reviewers can immediately see, evaluate and make coding decisions. Advanced categorization technology can even help suggest the coding of a document or add a higher level of coding QC.
