Strategic Accounts Director

We are currently seeking an experienced Strategic Accounts Director to serve as a liaison to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding strong strategic partnerships with corporate house accounts and a select number of large law firm accounts. The Strategic Account Director will manage multiple accounts while representing the entire range of company products and services to clients.

  • Develop a corporate client relationship to establish TCDI as the client’s premier services provider spanning all phases of the EDRM spectrum.
  • Serve as liaison between internal team leaders and PMs and client stakeholders and influencers.
  • Consult on existing service offerings, new technologies, service line trends, case study wins, etc., in coordination with TCDI’s internal teams.
  • Work collaboratively with TCDI’s internal marketing team and clients to fill panels, co-author articles, create case studies and attend social events.
  • Build long-term, strategic plans to maximize clients' success while maximizing TCDI services based on the needs of the client.
  • Penetrate assigned accounts which includes renewal, cross-sell and upsell.
  • Leverage relationships by introducing sales team members to associated parties, such as outside counsel firms, to pursue new business associated with other corporations.
  • Establish account specific revenue target for each account
  • Conflict check, scoping, estimates, draft contracts
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure successful outcomes and happy clients.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, lead project debriefs, and issue periodic satisfaction surveys, and obtain case studies.
  • Manage new matter intake, conflict check, scoping, estimates, and draft contracts
  • Conduct reports on matter and status and various metrics.
  • Enter and track activity in Salesforce
  • 5-10 years of eDiscovery Project Management experience
  • Familiarity with drafting contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Must be timely/responsive to client requests
  • Strong team player
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of client relationship management strategies
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Proactive approach to client needs
  • Experience proactively managing large corporate legal departments
  • Proficiency in the legal landscape as well as legal operational teams is highly desired

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to work varied hours to meet business needs
  • Ability to travel
  • Normal office environment
  • Prolonged computer work daily
  • This customer-facing role requires excellent oral and written communication skills and professionalism.
