Meet the Team
Employee Spotlight: Nancy Cipriani
Title: Senior Project Director
Location: Greensboro, NC
Nancy Cipriani is a self-described Midwestern girl. Born and raised in Missouri, she graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a degree in Business Administration. It was after college, while working at a local law firm, that Nancy made an impression on TCDI. In 2003 she accepted a job with TCDI, packed up a U-Haul and traded the cold Midwest winters for a warmer gentler climate in Greensboro, NC.
As a Senior Project Director at TCDI, Nancy works closely with clients on Litigation Management projects, coordinating tasks across teams. Her primary goal is always to focus on continuous process improvement and finding ways to assist clients with managing their projects, processes, data and documents.
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part of my job is also the part of my job that I enjoy the most. (I love a good challenge!) I enjoy working on new project implementations where I can take a bunch of documents and data from different sources and work with our team to design a system that provides our clients with a new streamlined system. There is something exciting about turning what a client reports as “overwhelming” or “unmanageable” into a system that has everything a user needs at their fingertips with built in workflows and automated reporting.
What is the most exciting/rewarding part of your job?
The people. I am privileged enough to work with the most amazing and talented people in the industry. TCDI was founded on principles that include wanting to be the best at the technology solutions we provide, while having the heart and kindness to put people first. Our company is like a family and we work with amazing clients that are part of our extended family. It is rewarding to have that kind of relationship with your fellow staffers and your client contacts daily. It is a rare gift and I am quite thankful for it.
What do you like to do outside of work?
My favorite thing is listening and discovering new music. I call it “going down the rabbit hole”. I like to listen to music/watch lyric videos on YouTube and discover new artists I have never heard of before. I have a broad play list with all different kinds of music. I also love to read dystopian fiction or Sci-fi/Fantasy thrillers. I enjoy a good story line where there is a group of “underdog” survivors fighting against evil to save humanity, learning to get back to basics and the important things in life. You gotta love a good underdog story!
What is your favorite quote?
“It was only a sunny smile, and little it cost in the giving, but like morning light it scattered the night and made the day worth living.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
