Sonia O’Hara is a Senior Digital Forensic Analyst at TCDI. Sonia joined TCDI in October of 2023 as a Digital Forensic Analyst. She is experienced in the preservation, identification, extraction, documentation and interpretation of data using computer forensic tools.  Some of the tools she has experience with are Cellebrite Inseyets UFED and Physical Analyzer, FTK Imager, Magnet AXIOM Cyber, and X-Ways.

  • Provided Department of Defense (DoD) support as a deploying Digital Forensic Examiner within a Joint Military Unit. Team lead for the MEDEX Digital Forensic Examiner Contractor Team within the Military Troop we supported. Maintained proficiency in CELLEX, MEDEX, and BIOMETRIC exploitation techniques and practices.
  • Utilized investigative techniques to recover data and maintain the integrity of submitted evidence.
  • Conducted data acquisition of a wide variety of multimedia devices to include, but not limited to, Hard Drives, Thumb Drives, SD Cards, GPSs, CDs, DVDs, Cellphones, (Feature and Smart Phones), Drones / Unmanned Arial Vehicles (UAVs), and SIM Cards in a forensically sound manner.
  • Located, exploited, and reported on data recovered from captured enemy media / collected exploitable material (CEM) to include user contacts, call logs, internet history, typed URL’s, chat logs, 3rd party application data, recorded geo-coordinates, activity timeline analysis, images, videos, and other relevant digital artifacts.
