When you engage TCDI, you gain more than a project manager. You gain the combined knowledge and experience of an entire team. Every department contributes to that strength, from digital forensics and document review to strategic solutions and research and development. Our experts are always ready and willing to help clients solve their most complex challenges.

That is what it means to be collaborative. It is not about working as one individual, one department, or even one organization. By operating as an extension of our client’s team, we better align around shared goals, build trust through transparency, and create stronger outcomes for every matter we touch.

This month, we asked our team what being collaborative means in their day-to-day roles. Here’s what they had to say:

Ginny Gonzalez | Chief Revenue Officer
Strategic Solutions Team

One of the biggest reasons I joined TCDI is because of how collaborative this team truly is. It’s not just talk, you can feel it every day. We’re a tight, communicative group that thrives on transparency, constant idea-sharing, and helping each other get better. There’s a real sense of energy and innovation that comes from that openness, and it’s one of the things I love most about working here.

What’s even better is that this same spirit carries over to how we work with our clients. We don’t just hand off projects. We collaborate, problem-solve, and build together. That mix of partnership, creativity, and honesty is what makes TCDI such a special place to work and such a great team to work with!

Sam Matos | Technical Support Manager
Quality Engineering Team

Within our support department, collaboration is the cornerstone of our success. We don’t operate in silos. Instead, we function as a unified team, where every individual’s contribution is valued and integrated. Our approach is to share knowledge between us freely, ensuring that no single person is the sole holder of critical information.

When a complex issue arises, we pool our diverse expertise, working together to troubleshoot and find a comprehensive solution. This collective effort not only resolves problems more efficiently but also strengthens our departmental knowledge base, making us all more effective in the long run.

The collaborative spirit extends beyond just problem-solving too. It’s embedded in our daily operations. We hold weekly team meetings to discuss any ongoing tasks we may be working on, share insights, and offer proactive help. This constant communication allows us to anticipate challenges and distribute the workload equally.

By supporting each other and sharing the responsibility, we maintain a high standard of service and ensure that our clients always receive timely and thorough assistance, reinforcing that in our department, we’re all in this together.

Angela Hensley | Accounting Associate
Finance Team

To me, a collaborative workplace is one where subject matter expertise and support come together. One of the TCDI core values is “Team,” and collaboration is vital to any team.

Having a role in Finance means that I collaborate frequently with other departments on a variety of things that are all integral to the service we strive to provide for each of our clients. From the initial setup and ongoing updates of the internal project records we create to the monthly invoicing process, it is always a collaborative effort with the project managers, sales representatives, and others on the finance team.

Justin Hoefflicker | Project Director
Document Review Team

Working within the Managed Document Review department, collaboration is essential to effectively executing and delivering for our clients.  A successful review requires careful planning and a coordinated approach between the Managed Document Review team, clients, and counsel to ensure that all goals and objectives are being met on timelines that satisfy all parties involved.

With a collaborative approach to each review, I have found that TCDI is particularly well situated to follow through and deliver a consistently high-quality work product for clients.  The attitude of collaboration by the Managed Document Review team members is exemplified internally given that we are all “pulling on the same rope” in a spirit of cooperation directed at how we tackle our daily tasks and provide support to one another day in and day out.

Michael McLaughlin | Senior Project Manager
Client Services Team

In eDiscovery, true collaboration happens when teams align on every part of the discovery process to deliver outcomes that are defensible, efficient, and cost-effective. As a Senior Project Manager at TCDI, I have seen how our collaborative approach supports every aspect of a matter.

Our teams don’t work in silos. By bringing together talent from across departments, including review teams, developers, analysts, forensics, and client services, we create smart, agile solutions tailored to each project. From the first client conversation to final production, we’re constantly sharing insights and adjusting strategies in real time. That constant exchange of ideas allows us to maintain accuracy and deliver results that support our clients’ goals while exceeding their expectations.

What really sets TCDI apart though is that collaboration is built into our culture. By working closely together, we find smarter, faster ways to the finish line which makes projects run smoother and strengthens the outcomes our clients rely on.
