At TCDI, experience is more than a credential. It’s the reason clients trust us with their most complex litigation challenges.

Having been in business since 1988, it’s safe to say that we’ve learned a lot along the way. Every project informs the next, creating smarter workflows, more efficient processes, and better outcomes for our clients.

That accumulated knowledge is one reason we have relationships lasting over 20 years. Our team consistently brings seasoned insight, practical problem-solving, and a calm, focused approach to every matter, no matter how intricate or time-sensitive.

You’ll find that same depth of experience across our project management team (and company as a whole). With an average of 8 years at TCDI and 12 years in the legal industry, they bring the kind of continuity and perspective that’s hard to replicate. They know what to expect, how to adapt, and how to guide with confidence.

This month, we asked our team what being experienced means to them. Here is how they put that experience to work every day:

Lisa Cain

Lisa Cain | Chief Accounting Officer
Strategic Solutions Team

In my role as Chief Accounting Officer, being experienced means a few things beyond just knowing how to manage day-to-day accounting functions. My experience and deep technical knowledge enable me to address complex accounting situations and streamline accounting operations to improve efficiency and ensure financial processes are automated where possible.

Financial experience at TCDI includes managing internal controls, mitigating risks, overseeing audits, and ensuring compliance with ever-evolving US and UK regulations. A good Finance Team is key to any organization’s success and experienced leadership needs to mentor and develop staff to build a strong team to create a financially savvy organization.

Michael Gibeault | Senior Vice President, Legal Services
Business Development Team

A company with a long history is not always positive if the company and its culture don’t grow with time. Over the past eight years with TCDI, I have grown due to the culture that seeks new and innovative ways to partner with our clients. Lean Six Sigma is not just a methodology for improvement: it’s the core of TCDI. We constantly look outside the box for more efficient, cost-effective, and defensible solutions to better our clients’ experience.

Ronn Power

Ronn Power | Senior Director, Client Data Services
Client Services Team

To me, being experienced doesn’t mean reading our clients’ minds. It means knowing how to ask the right questions.

Over the years, I’ve learned that not every client request will lead to the desired outcome. That’s why asking the right questions early on is essential. By understanding the “why” behind the ask, I help eliminate rework, reduce misunderstandings, and keep projects on track.

Experience is more than the work you’ve done. It needs to be backed by the success of the projects you deliver.

Meghan Pertler | Data Mining Manager
Document Review Team

I am a Data Mining Manager and Team Lead with a background in Document Review. With my time spent here at TCDI, I’ve gained a lot of experience working through the ins and outs of document review, both on my own and while leading a team. I make sure documents are reviewed carefully, any issues are handled the right way, and everything stays on track with project guidelines. I’m always adjusting how I work to keep things running smoothly and up to standard.

In my Team Lead role, I regularly check in with team members, offer support, and give feedback to help everyone do their best. I’m all about finding better ways to work, whether that’s removing roadblocks, fine-tuning processes, or helping the team stay on the same page.

My experience has taught me the value of being consistent, staying organized, and working through problems together. For me, it’s not about just getting the job done, it’s about using what I’ve learned to keep improving how we do it, every day.

Mike Weber Headshot

Mike Weber | Senior Programmer/Analyst
Research & Development Team

When TCDI speaks of experience, I think of two things: an individual’s professional experience and our organization’s understanding of customer needs.  I started with TCDI in 2003 and was immediately immersed in a fast-paced and demanding software development pipeline where we often needed solutions in hours or days rather than weeks or months.

This often involved working directly with customers on software requirements and then developing code that solved their exact needs while fitting those solutions into our product offerings. Those solutions would then flow into the main product lines so that all our customers would benefit from those features.

This gave me both types of experience: as a professional in software development and as a representative and advocate for customers to create software that is the best it can be.
