I see inclusion as the active, daily practice of ensuring our team doesn’t just welcome different perspectives but fundamentally relies on them. We know that groundbreaking ideas aren’t exclusive to those with traditional engineering or science degrees. Our research and development teams are strengthened by brilliant individuals from diverse backgrounds who allow us to solve complex problems from a wider range of angles.
When everyone has a seat at the table, we naturally challenge each other’s assumptions. This is crucial, as it directly fuels innovation and leads to a superior, more thoughtfully crafted experience for our end users. For me, true inclusion at TCDI means consciously creating a space where these varied strengths are essential ingredients to our collective success.

Since joining TCDI in 2018 as a Military Spouse Managed Review (MSMR) Document Reviewer, and now serving as a Data Mining Analyst, I’ve had the opportunity to experience firsthand how inclusion is part of our everyday culture. As a Filipina with a heavy medical background, a seasoned Navy wife, and previously a stay-at-home mom of three, I bring a blend of experiences shaped by both family and heritage.
At TCDI, those differences aren’t just acknowledged, they’re valued. Working with people from diverse perspectives has taught me that inclusion fuels collaboration, creativity, and mutual respect. It gives you a sense of belonging, a sense of being part of a team, and a sense of being part of the TCDI family.

In my opinion, inclusion is a cornerstone of culture and culture is the most important value for any successful organisation.
