Our founder, president and CEO, Bill Johnson started TCDI with just a small handful of employees. Since then, he has guided the formation of a company staffed with people wholly dedicated to the delivery of quality and success for each of our clients. Bill JohnsonChief Executive Officer
Bill’s diverse background in programming and technology leadership gave him the vision to establish a unique company that provides technology solutions to corporate, legal, and government markets. He has more than 30 years of experience in knowledge management and advanced search technologies. Bill has worked with BASISPlus for more than 25 years and serves as a database-design specialist with explicit knowledge of a number of SQL compliant database systems, as well as large text databases. Bill earned a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in Computer-Aided Design at the University of Maryland.
Susan BrightEVP Strategic Acquisitions
Susan brings a unique combination of technical, consulting, and management skills to her position at TCDI. With in-depth knowledge of the design and development of databases and technical systems, she is responsible for strategic mergers & acquisitions. She has a BAS in Computer Science from Campbell University and an MA in Educational Media from Appalachian State University. Susan has served as board members for both the Guilford Technical Community College Foundation and Friends for an Earlier Breast Cancer Test and is currently the executive director and founder of 1st Home Foundation.www.earlier.org 1sthomefoundation.org
Kip, a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, was named president in 2017. Before joining TCDI, he served in senior management positions with responsibility for global business units, Six Sigma projects, national sales, and customer and government relations at HAECO Americas and 3M. His leadership and experience ensures TCDI delivers the next level of service and innovation to our clients, as well as overseeing our expansion into new markets. Kip received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas, and has been recognized as one of the Triad’s Most Influential Leaders by the Triad Business Journal. He also received the 2016 Leadership Award from the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce.
Lisa CainChief Financial Officer
Lisa is a CPA and brings a strong combination of financial, accounting, and computer information experience to TCDI. With more than 25 years of financial experience, she is responsible for the oversight and direction of TCDI’s financial operations. Lisa holds BS degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Systems and an MBA — all from Pfeiffer University. Lisa is also a director of 1st Home Foundation (1sthomefoundation.org), treasurer of The Fred Foundation, and treasurer of the Columbiettes, women’s auxiliary for Holy Family Catholic Church.
Geoff McPhersonChief Operating Officer
As a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Geoff provides guidance and leadership for the internal and external facing Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts at TCDI. Prior to joining TCDI, Geoff worked for 16 years administering training programs in the industrial and business community. He was co-founder of the Lean Six Sigma School at Alamance Community College and continues to teach part time while overseeing the integrity of the program. As the COO, Geoff serves as a catalyst for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations with a focus on business processes and transactional operations. When he isn’t hard at work designing more efficient process, you’ll find him out on the water enjoying time with his family.
Ginny GonzalezChief Marketing and Business Development Officer
Ginny brings over 25 years of business development and marketing experience to TCDI, with nearly 16 of those years working with corporate legal and global law firm clients. Ginny’s focus is the expansion of the TCDI sales and marketing team. Her leadership, experience and skillset drives stronger sales and marketing initiatives aimed at growing and broadening our client base. Additionally, her experience allows for increase brand awareness into more markets across the U.S.
Caragh LandryPresident, Litigation Services
Caragh brings over 20 years of eDiscovery and Document Review experience to TCDI. In her role as President of Litigation Services, Caragh oversees workflow creation, service delivery, and development strategy for our processing, hosting, review, production and litigation management applications. Caragh’s expertise in building new platforms aligns closely with TCDI’s strategy to increase innovation and improve workflow. Her diverse operational experience and hands on approach with clients is key to continually improving the TCDI user experience.
Tim OpsitnickExecutive Vice President, Expert Services & General Counsel
Timothy M. Opsitnick is at the forefront of practitioners addressing issues involved in the security and discovery of electronically stored information. His consulting focuses on electronic discovery, information governance, cybersecurity, computer forensics, and cloud-based document management systems. In addition, Tim has served as an expert witness and special master.
