TCDI, a US-based company with a footprint in the UK, is seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our growing team as Sr. Director of Business Development.  The successful candidate will support the growth and revenue goals of TCDI’s service offerings, including eDiscovery, Managed Document Review, and Litigation Management by identifying, pursuing, and closing sales, focusing on corporate legal operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in eDiscovery and Managed Document review with an emphasis on sales or consulting directly with corporate legal departments.

  • Meet/exceed quarterly and yearly revenue projections in a defined region or territory.
  • Accurately represent the value proposition of TCDI’s entire portfolio.
  • Leverage industry knowledge and expertise though thought leadership and strengthen the company’s UK footprint in the eDiscovery and cybersecurity space.
  • Qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue, working closely with direct report and forecasting through TCDI CRM platform.
  • Consistently grow, cultivate and leverage relationships to ensure an effective pipeline of opportunities and execute on each phase of the sales process.
  • Identify the needs and challenges of prospective customers and create value-based solutions using your knowledge of our services, customers, and key competitors.
  • Work collaboratively to coordinate the internal and external resources needed to effectively manage the sales process.
  • Identify key drivers of value for the client and effectively articulate the value of our solutions and how they differentiate from others in the marketplace.
  • Accurately forecast business on a consistent basis.
  • Leverage the value of TCDI’s solutions in the negotiation process to drive maximum margin for the company. Establish customer relationships that enable TCDI to be viewed as a trusted advisor.
  • 5-10 years of transactional and direct sales experience in the legal vertical
  • Portfolio of existing legal clients is preferred
  • Minimum three years’ experience selling legal services and/or software in the eDiscovery market corporations with a minimum of $2MM in sales per year over the past two years.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Bachelor’s degree, (preferred emphasis in Business Administration or Marketing)
  • Law Degree (JD or LLB) a plus
  • Successful completion of background check
  • Ability to work varied hours to meet business needs
  • Ability to travel
